Over
the past three years the
satori group
has
been researching, writing and recording
'a
terrible beauty….'
a
concept dance album that
tells the truly fantastic tale
of Michael Alig and the Club Kids!
After
a year of writing, David Lambert hooked up with UK
DJ and beats supremo The Weaver, also
known as Tommie
Wincott. Together
they went into the studio to
begin what has turned out to be quite
a journey! Before long guitar hero Dave
King was also signed up,and
the three began to juxtapose poetry,
prose,
original samples from Party Monster (the
World of Wonder documentary), and
from the five hour interview
David
Lambert had with Michael Alig
with dance music.
